Richmond Park Golf Course

Opened in 1923 by HRH Prince of Wales, the Prince’s Course was commissioned as part of a scheme to get more people enjoying golf. It’s the shorter of our two 18-hole courses and offers wonderful elevated views of Richmond Park and beyond. From the upper part of the course you can see the imposing White Lodge, now home to the Royal Ballet School. Following the huge popularity of the Prince’s Course, a second 18-hole course was built in 1925. The Duke’s Course is longer, more challenging layout, with plenty of water hazards and demanding tee shots. Home of the PGA Surrey Championship in 2013, the course has since been completely redesigned following a £multi-million improvement project by Glendale Golf.
