Abbeydale Golf Club

The course is renowned for its beautifully manicured appearance, undulating greens and beautiful views and surroundings. In recent years the course has benefitted from the installation of a new fairway drainage system, allowing play when other courses have been closed in adverse weather conditions. Set in the beautiful Beauchief Estate, the course was designed by the famous architect Herbert Fowler, also renowned for other such designs as Walton Heath and The Berkshire. Fowler's design ethos of strategy and reward are apparent.
