Stand Golf Course

Stand Golf Club was founded in 1904, and has been welcoming visitors and newcomers for over 110 years. We are located 6 miles north of Manchester and less than a mile from the M60/M62. The Whitefield Metrolink stop (Manchester-Bury line) is within easy walking distance, only half a mile from the clubhouse. Our course is reputed to be one of the finest in the area. The good drainage offered by the sand sub-soil means that the course is playable all year round. When other courses are forced to close for inclement weather, Stand usually remains open. The 6334 yards (Par 72, SSS 71) is a fine test of golf for all standards of player. We have good practice facilities, two nets, chipping green and putting green near the first tee.
