Sand Moor Golf Club

Sand Moor Golf Club is currently ranked number 7 in the best courses in Yorkshire. Although the course offers a real challenge, it is not a particularly punitive course, and therefore can be enjoyed by players of all abilities. The course was designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie in 1926 - who sat on the very first Greens Committee at the club - and famously went on to design Augusta National. The course is well known for its four challenging, MacKenzie designed, par 3's.
