With 36 Parkland holes, the Old and the New course in La Zagaleta settle in an astonishing background of Mediterranean forests with breathtaking views of the Alborán Sea, Africa and Gibraltar. Both courses offer a dynamic design of doglegs, going either left or right, where hitting the fairways off the tee becomes vital in order to attack small but undulated greens from mid to short range. They are not long courses but they are very technical where a risk/reward strategy is present in many of its holes. The peace, tranquility and silence is only broken occasionally by the sighting of a pheasant, a deer, buck or mouflon, permanent residents in La Zagaleta.

Craziness
La Zagaleta is a top club in every respect, one of the best I've ever played. After passing security and driving to the parking lot, the pick-up service is waiting by the car. Bags are brought directly onto the carts. Driving range with a great view and free balls. Very good design, every hole is different. Fast greens like Augusta, a few water hazards and very well placed bunkers. Short course that is very difficult because of the gorges and hard-to-reach fairways. While the clubs are being cleaned by the caddies, you can enjoy the sunset on the terrace after the round with excellent food and beers. Definitely a must play this course if you're not a beginner.

La Zagaleta ist in allen Belangen ein Top Club, einer der Besten den ich je spielen durfte. Nachdem man bei die Security vorbei ist und zum Parking gefahren ist, wartet der Abholservice beim Auto. Bags werden direkt auf die Carts gebracht. Driving Range mit super Aussicht und gratis Bällen.. Sehr gutes Design, jedes Loch ist anders. Schnelle Grüns wie Augusta, ein paar Wasserhindernisse und sehr gut platzierte Bunker. Kurzer Platz der sehr schwierig ist wegen den Schluchten und schwer erreichbaren Fairways. Während die Schläger von den Caddys geputzt werden kann man nach der Runde auf der Terrasse beim hervorragendem Essen und Bierchen den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Definitiv ein muss diesen Platz zu spielen wenn man nicht gerade Anfänger.

One of the most beautiful and difficult golf courses I have ever played. The place is in a private complex with security check and gps tracker. at the entrance so that you cannot move outside the gulf in the complex. The place is varied, very nice spots and greens that could compete with Augusta. Tee times every 15 minutes so that you can continue to relax. The clubhouse and restaurant are also great. Recommended course but not suitable for beginners.

Einer der schönsten und schwersten Golfplätze die ich je gespielt habe. Der Platz befindet sich in einer privaten Anlage mit Security check und gps tracker den man. am Eingang erhält damit man sich in der Anlage nicht außerhalb des Golfes bewegen kann. Der Platz ist abwechslungsreich, sehr schöne Spots und Greens die es mit Augusta aufnehmen könnten. Tee times alle 15 Minuten so dass man relax weiter kommt. Auch das Clubhouse und das Restaurant sind super. Empfehlenswerter Platz aber nicht für Anfänger geeignet.
