Sct. Knuds Golf Klub

The club was founded in 1954 and is, as such, one of the oldest golf courses in Denmark, with part of the beautiful and challenging course running along Nyborg Fjord. The club boasts a new club house built in 2009 with every modern facility. The town of Nyborg is 800 years old, with quaint shopping streets and important medieval architecture, including Nyborg Castle, built in the 12th century as walled fortress and the oldest royal palace in Denmark. In fact, there are many castles and stately homes worth visiting in the Nyborg area. Nyborg has good hotels close to the Great Belt with splendid swimming beaches. Situated at the geographical centre of Denmark, Nyborg is some 35 Km from Odense and Svendborg, and 90 minutes either by car or frequent train from Copenhagen. It is an ideal launching pad for holidays and, of course, many rounds of golf.
